The Golden Rule

Located in Butler, Georgia, The Golden Rule was founded in 1996 as a residential treatment program for women who have experienced nonviolent legal problems because of chemical addiction. Any woman who is destitute but meets all other requirements and has a genuine desire for sobriety will be accepted at minimal to no cost, provided room is available. Presently, the capacity is 38 residents and the average stay is 9 months. Services include meals, climate-controlled housing, transportation, counseling, AA/NA meetings, health care, GED or SAT preparation, and job skills training. Money in support of this home has been contributed by the Foundation.
