Habitat House - 2005

Habitat House - 2005  In late 2005, Community Health Foundation became involved in another Habitat for Humanity House.  CHF was approached by Habitat leadership in Macon, Georgia and CHF agreed to become a financial sponsor for one of Habitat's projects.  This particular project is especially rewarding for CHF as the receiving home owner, Josefa Sanchez is also an employee of the Health System with which CHF is a member.

Work began at the vacant site in early October, 2005.  Many local church organizations provided the volunteer labor for this project; however, as time permitted, volunteers affiliated with the Foundation also lent a helping hand.

As the house progresses, the Foundation wishes to thank all of those who contribute to the Foundation on a regular basis.  Because of your generosity, funding for this wonderful project is possible.  The Foundation is proud of its efforts to extend positive change in our communities; and with the continued help from all of you, we will continue on this mission.
